- Secure Access & Identity Management: All operational services utilized cross-account IAM roles with temporary credentials and enforced MFA. Role-based access was managed through customized IAM permission sets, with centralized logging via AWS CloudTrail and integration with external SIEM tools. Temporary credentials ensured no long-term key exposure, and access roles were scoped and audited regularly in compliance with SOC2 and ISO standards.
- Data Encryption: Oracle Transparent Data Encryption (TDE) was implemented at both database and storage levels, using keys managed via wallet/keystore to securely control encryption and decryption processes.
- Migration Approach: A hybrid Oracle Data Guard setup allowed near-zero downtime migration from on-premises to AWS, with synchronous replication and cascaded Data Guard configurations across AWS Availability Zones and regions.
