About the role
The Software Engineer will design, develop, and maintain Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions to support enterprise operations. This role involves using RPA tools such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, and Blue Prism, along with programming in C++ and .NET, to address production issues and optimize automated workflows. The engineer may act as the sole technical resource on a project or lead a delivery team, translating business requirements into process flows and Visual Business Objects (VBOs). Frequent travel to client locations may be required.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement RPA solutions using UiPath, Automation Anywhere, and Blue Prism.
- Develop solutions with C++ and .NET to resolve production issues and optimize bot performance.
- Collect and analyze business requirements, translating them into process flows and VBOs.
- Maintain technical responsibility for project delivery, either independently or as a team leader.
- Troubleshoot day-to-day issues and provide technical solutions for automation challenges.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure seamless implementation.
- Frequent travel to unanticipated client locations as required.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related field.
- Minimum 6 months of relevant work experience in software engineering or RPA development.
- Proficiency with RPA tools such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, and Blue Prism.
- Programming experience in C++ and .NET.
- Ability to translate business requirements into process and technical solutions.
Preferred Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for automation and production issues.
- Experience designing process flows and Visual Business Objects (VBOs).
- Ability to manage projects independently or lead a small technical team.
